LEARNING TO LIVE IN A TECHNICAL WORLD
ABOUT US
We are the Turner/Bartels K-8 Technology Student Association chapter. TSA is a national organization of students engaged in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). We strongly believe in the need for a technologically literate society. Our chapter members learn though exciting hands on competitive events, leadership opportunities, and community service projects. We believe in taking learning beyond the classroom.
Turner/Bartels TSA is looking to help raise a generation of students that are educated with real world skills, ambition, guidance, and realistic expectations of what it means to work. In our inaugural year, 2015-2016, our chapter ranked 10th overall in the state and brought home three 2nd place national titles. In 2016-2017 we competed in 34 different events including Medical and Forensic Technology, Web Design, Geospatial Technology, Inventions and Innovations, Dragster Design, Mass Production, Robotics, and Essays on Technology just to name a few. We finished the 2016-2017 season ranked 5th overall in the state. We then finished the 2017-2018 season ranked 1st overall in the state of Florida.
